Microsoft Office for Mac Includes Updated Tools, Web Apps

Microsoft has added many updated tools and Web apps in Microsoft for Mac, such as Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote.

Microsoft has also integrated the ribbon into its newest Mac edition. It is claimed that the ribbon can deliver a more consistent experience across platforms, modern and fluid experience to Mac users.

With Microsoft Office Web Apps for Mac, people can be able to view and share Word documents with others, edit and create Excel spreadsheets, view and edit PowerPoint presentations.

With those Office Web Apps, users can also store their documents in Windows Live SkyDrive(SkyDrive Attachment Plugin recommended), and they can also launch the full Office application to edit their documents in the cloud.

In addition, Eric Wilfrid, general manager for Microsoft's Macintosh Business Unit, said that Outlook for Mac would include features such as a "high-speed file-based database with support for backing up files with Time Machine and Spotlight searching," and "prevents sensitive information from being [disrupted] or read by people who do not have permission."
